Zipp hits high all-around marks with their 303 Firecrest Carbon Clincher wheelset, thanks to a wide tire bed and mid-aero profile. The 28.5mm rim width provides confident control in nasty crosswinds and on rough roads, and the 45mm Firecrest rim profile offers wind-shedding aerodynamics while maintaining great acceleration characteristics. Zipp's 77/177 hubset, laced with Sapim CX-Sprint spokes, provides maintenance-free reliability and lateral stiffness, and trusted stopping power comes via Tangente Platinum Pro Evo brake pads. Included with each wheel are a Zipp-integrated Valve Extender with valve-core wrench, rim tape, and quick release.

Zipp's Vuka Alumina BTA Mount with QuickView is cleverly designed to sit between the arms for aerodynamic efficiency while riding. The 104-gram, rock-solid aluminum mounting frame includes a QuickView quarter-turn mount for all Garmin Edge series head units, and is compatible with Zipp's Vuka BTA Carbon Water Bottle Cage (each sold separately). The Service Course SL-80 provides comfortable and efficient positions on the bar tops, brake hoods, or down in the drops. The bar allows a neutral wrist position on the drops and a flat brake-hood transition. This minimizes the need for up-rotated bars. Drops are angled outward by 4 degrees, reducing wrist strain. Named after its 80mm reach to bring the hoods and control levers back where you want them. The ergonomic 125mm drop places the angled drop position where you can easily reach it while maintaining a neutral wrist angle. The SL-80's rounded bar top is clip-on compatible. For aerodynamic efficiency, the carbon Vuka Bull utilizes the watt-saving wing-shape of Zipp's SL-70 Aero bar. Its design also is based on feedback from professional bike fitters, so athletes can maintain optimal aero position. The Vuka Bull is designed to be wide enough to help you control your bike in corners and climb comfortably but narrow enough to not slow you down when you are in the aerobars focusing on fast. These die-cut borderless decals provide a distinctive look to go with the distinctive sound and aero-advantage of Zipp wheels rolling at 45km an hour. Zipp’s Matte white and Matte black decals also are still available. Each decal kit has seven decals sufficient to cover one wheel and two matching valve-hole decals. Note: Before applying the decals, make sure the rim surface is free of dirt and debris. We recommend a gentle wipe with acetone or rubbing alcohol. Peel the white backing sheet from the decal, orientate, position and gently press the decal onto the rim surface. Starting at one end, remove the surface clear cover slip and then work the decal into the dimples using a 3M squeegee.

Zipp’s Vuka Extensions are made of ultralight, stiff carbon and come in different bends so that you can find the model that optimizes your aero position and maximizes your speed. The Straight extensions place you as low as possible, while the Race and Ski-Tip models have more bend for your wrists. Then, for a seamless junction between your shifters and the extensions, the Race Vuka Shift has built-in mounts that let you screw your shifters directly to the extensions. They accept Zipp’s R2C Aero shifters and SRAM's 900 TT and 500 TT shifters. All the extensions have internal cable routing and gradations to make adjustments easy.

When race day arrives, the last thing you want to worry about is organization. The Zipp Transition 1 Gear Bag has multiple compartments to keep your essentials easy to find and converts quickly from backpack to duffel with a removable shoulder strap. A top molded pocket protects valuable items like cell phones and sunglasses, while a large ventilated lower compartment keeps shoes or wet clothes separated from the main hold. Package comes with two pieces of rim tape for use with the Zipp clinchers. Woven nylon material. Tape is extra thin with a thickness of 0.5 mm. Note: For Zipp 700c and 650c aluminum/carbon hybrid clichers, use the 16 mm rim tape. For Zipp 30 wheel set use 18mm but for the wider Firecrest and Firestrike carbon clinchers use the 20mm x 1/2mm rim tape.
